Just bought a 2wd rear diff off ebay thought it was 4wd. Any way i need to know wether the housings are the same besides the fact 2wd ones are spua

Strangely the 2 rear 4wd housings I have measure 1235mm for the axle mounting surfaces (where the backing plate bolts to on the end of the housing). So actually smaller
One housing is LN46 and the other is LN65.
Couldn't get WMS to WMS without pulling the wheels off of dads car. Hope the axle mounting surface measurement will be adequate.

Wheeling on completely wicked angles, without even looking stable.
will 2nd that a 2wd housing is wider by about 20mm, they then go wider again in the 90s 2wd, i think to surf width, dont qoute that tho just remember measuering one up for a current 2wd project
