TUFF TRUCK UNDER NEW MANAGEMENT.

Post by Tuff Events »

G'day Guys

Well it seems to have taken so long to sort out all the details, but its now time to officially advise you guys about what's been happening with Tuff Truck.

A few months ago a guy rang me & asked me if the rumor was true? I merely replied "what do you mean, what rumor" he heard that I had bought Tuff Truck!!! too which I had no idea that it was even for sale!

After I got off the phone, I instantly started thinking about the event & ways in which I thought I could make a difference if I was in charge of running it. So I made contact with TTC...

2 months later I am Glad to announce that I did proceed & am now officially the new owner of TTC.

So much is involved with the event which I am in the process of getting a handle on, in preparation of next year.

As I'm sure some of you may have seen, the date for next years event has been announced, 19-20-21 March 2010. I really hope that suits!!

Updates to the website have been happening this week, with more to follow.

We have some new rules that have been finalised & Nominations are NOW open.

I'm really looking forward to see what I can make of an already great event with some of the awesome ideas that I have installed for it.

Regards

Awsome work Pete. Hope you can turn it into a fantastic event.
I would be happy to see the Mud gone for good.
I know alot wont like this idea but what about banning people bringing grog in and having a licensed bar of sorts on site that can limit peoples intake.??
It will stop alot of people coming but in turn more will eventually come as word will get around bout such a great well behaved comp. Plus it will stop low life scum farkers stealing peoples grog and Eskys :x
So is the drive for the current 40 up for grabes

I agree with bogged.

And police presence will have a HUGE impact, especially, if they are in high visibility gear.

It will defently rein in some of the "stupids", but it will still leave options open for a few beers, and some fun. If i want BNS fun, i'll go to one.

Be very interesting to see how the police manage the event. I wonder if they have an understanding, of how big it can be lol....

I might bother to make the journey up then, especially if there is going to be an improvement.

go to any drag racing event and its alchohol free, and plenty of people turn up. if your serious about your sport and supporting it, it wont matter. this is a brilliant sport and deserves to be taken seriously. knowing i can take the family id love to make the trip down next year.
best of luck with it pete.
