The name on the fridge is actualy MEMPHIS. They are 12/24 DC & 240volt AC. They have 12 months warranty & are made in China.
Hope that clears some things up.
Have you plugged one to see what it's like? What does the construction quality seem like?

ive had one for about 19 odd months ( travel mate but looks the same ) and it runs 24/7 , a 120 a/h battery will last atleast 4 days set at 0 deg ( its as long as ive run it for and the battery still read over 12 volts , and will probly last longer )

not actually buying them, a salesman told him that they were broccoli boxes but as it turns out they are shoe boxes

its aford not a nissan (doesn't that just roll off the tongue) so they are a not bad fridge for the money then? Might be a good option as a 2nd fridge then

for the price i cant complain , as for how well built they are , i can stand on the lid no worries and i weigh around 100 kgs and it easily holds two 30 packs of beer with room for food , the lid is high density plastic filled with foam , the body is steel over foam i guess and fairly thick , at less than 1/2 the price of an engel i recon it is good value

Once again we have a thread that has been rittled with the BUFFE5T disease.

It seems that this disease causes mass amounts of bullshit to be dispersed from the carrier and unfortunately there doesn't seem to be a cure.

These are made in China.

Still, I'm happy to be proven wrong. Would love an Engel for that price!

WTF are you smoking now??? I am talking about the engel logo floating in midair on the ad. There is no engel logo on the fridge in the ad. Are you trying to say they give you an engel sticker to put on your non engel fridge???

yuck smoke :P .

yeah the one i saw this week bro it had an engel sticker. i wish i had the camera with me then. the staff dudey fully convinced me that this is an engel fridge and what not,

believe me even the manager thought it was an engel fridge. Call sumner park now, they discoverd that this fridge wasn't engel on tuesday ( i went on monday). What do you expect me to believe?

The recipts and everything will come with warranty, ENGEL WARRANTY.

im sorry if i gave false information at start, but these were the 'exact' words from REPCO at SUMNER PARK on Monday afternoon.

im sorry ruff, grimbo and whatever member i've fired up. but i only told you what repco told me.

Croozy was spot on earlier. I went into Repco at Minchinbury at lunch today and looked at the fridge.

There is a large badge at the top of the fridge that says "MEMPHIS".

There is not a single Engel sticker/badge on it. There isn't a single thing in the store from Engel.

8UFF35T, Please stop typing. I can only imagine that even your keyboard would be insulted at the amount of bullshit you type...

So if you buy the Memphis fridge, it comes with a 3 year warranty from Engel?

Right...

There comes a time where you need to just stop. Chronic bullshitters ALWAYS get caught out mate, I know, I worked with one for a few years. He would tell a story, then a few months later tell me the same story, but slightly different. 3 months later, different again.
The moral is, you will get caught out, then you will look like a real twit, and lose respect. By the sounds of things, you hae been run out of a few places - Time to take a look at why you are crapping on all the time and address that issue.

Big people with there talk  ,

Believe what you want really, because I believe what I've heard and saw. And im entitled to it,

so think it's BS, doesn't kill or harm me bad in any way. I've told you what exactly repco boys said and this is it.

anyways, back with the topic.
