just looking for a aircon compressor for a 3l 2.8 deisel hilux and have found one off a 2.4d. they look the similar so was wondering if it will fit

dont know for sure, but the 2l and 3l are essentially the same engine so I expect it would be ok.

depends how much your like to gamble i guess. can you compare photos.

got a 3l one im in vic prob cost about 20-25 bucks to post
Keep it shiny side up!
Now doing general fab work and painting
trays, trailers, engine swaps on request, some tube work, silo section sliders, rust repairs, ute chops etc

the 3l hilux has two type of AC mounting types ie the ln107 has the tab type mounting bolts and the ln106 has the long type bolts straight through. i'd sujest you go for the ln106 type as it will fit aftermarket turbo kits ect, the compressor is the same on some ear1y 90 camrys i think the model number you need is 10pa170 i recently went through all of this and found this info out the hard way

hiluxmad thanks i will wait and see what happens with one on ebay i am winning if i don't get it i will take you up on it.

80gus it looks like the bolt thru job so i hope it fits

if the top plates don't look the same, ie the hose fittings point in different directions, just swap them over. I had to do this with a replacement from a LN106.
