33" on NH

Post by Winger »

after reading different threads on different sites as well as different advise from a number of 4wd specalists I am still no closer on figuring out how this is posable.

I have 92 NH Pajero with 31x10.5x15s and bog stock suspension and I am thinking of putting on 33s I know this can be done but I am writing this to find out if anyone out there has done this or knows someone who has and if so what is involved?

I had 33's on my NH a few years back all that was needed was 2 inch lift either suspension or body lift will work. I had 2" suspension with 33s but later fitted a 30mm body lift as it scrubed on the body on full flex in the rear.

Yep you will need a genuine 2" s/l or a 2" b/l.
I had 33x12.5x15" muddies on 15x8" Tojo offset steel rims and they did scrub a tad on the front if you comressed the front hard into holes and rubbed ever so slightly at the rear at full flex (swaybar removed) on the inner guard - you could live with it though as it was only very minor.
Later I did a 2" b/l and not even close to touching anywhere.
I just luv my "clacker Jabber"

50mm body blocks and the cutting down of the plastic front bar ( which i latter replaced with a custom bar ) made 33x12.5 muddies fit with a small about of scrub at max flex ( standard suspension )
