Hey Chris

There are many kits you can buy with detailed instructions on how to do the job, however it is cheaper to build your own kit.
You can start with an isloator.
Check this link.

All you need is the appropriate size wire length for your application. Depending where the second battery is going.
Make sure if its inside the vehicle it is properlly vented or a maintance free unit. (Gel or calcium type).
Good luck wih it.
Cheers

main battery positive feed goes to one large post, aux battery positive feed to the other. both batteries are to be earthed to the body so only the battery positive is being switched. one of the smaller terminals is to be connected directly to earth, the other one you can hook up to either accessories or ignition, whichever you wish the batteries to join on. or alternatively you can hook it up thru a switch on the dash and manually control the isolation tho i wouldnt advise this since alot of people forget to turn it on / off.
im surrounded by money pits
