sold it off on ebay about 2 days ago to a bloke in sydney, said he was using it to intercool his navara. Took all the pipe work as well.
I've almost got rid of most of the parts of the 3L. Took the head off tonight and discovered that i had managed to crack all 4 pistons. Pretty good effort i think.

Hi All,
An update on my laminova intercooler. I have now done some towing with 3 dirt bikes and all associated gear in temps around the mid 30's. My engine temps are lower and i struggle to get the egt's to 500c which is my lift off point. Prior to the intercooler i could barely get halfway up the same hills that i can now accelerate up. Previously i would have to lift off as egt's would hit 500c and water temp. would pass the halfway mark. I'm very happy!
Ben
P.S. i've driven Marin's(other Ben) since it's turbo and pump upgrade and it hauls on 35's)

Cutting the top off the intake plenum, might give more options and benifits or more room than cutting the rocker cover.
Either option means its not a bolt on.
What is the hump for in the rocker cover? Is it just a breathing area? Any reson why i couldn't fab up my own cover and fit a catch can and breather?
the hump has baffles under it to try to prevent oil blowing out into the intake. I cant see any reason a catch can couldnt be used instead. The rocker covers are plastic and cant be cut and shut easily.

One of the cruisers diesels is Ali the rest plastic.
Keep trying to talk DJ Hanson into been a Guinea Pig but open to offers.
With I believe Safari cast manifold which comes T3, so I made what is now know as the Hebble flange to change it to T25/T28. 3D CNC and fully flowed.
Almost he same heat exchanger as Busman's with the exception of 2 x 11' Spla fans instead of 2 10" Spal fans, just need to decide the best location for the inlet and outlets.
The power steering cooler will remain in the same place just need to fab up a new center strut. As you can see just before we put it away for the night.
looks nearly as tight as the 80 series trying to mount the rad in the front. let alone trying to run the plumbing. looking at therm fans yesterday and there is this new style out apparently that has dimples on one side of the blades. and it flows about 300 cfm more than oe of the spal fans. they also said it draws less amps but the couldnt show me a comparision on this. might give then a go.
do you no where the plumbing is going to run on the gu yet. and where did or are you going to mount the water pump.

GU's seem to have a perfect hole here circled in black in this pic where the pump can be feed through. With the pump sitting just below the head light.
well that's the plan so far any way
