hey mate to make it easier for u, dont t piece the sender, add me to your msn and ill send you pics of mine, there is a 1/8" blank bolt under cyl 6 exhaust outlet, its the factory oil feed for the factory td turbo, and seeing as how the tb block is a copy of the td, it has the blanked bolt also, undo it, run your line to there, its half the length of t piecing the sender, and looks so much neeter! i used a 3" short radius steam pipe bend for he dump and cu some off it to make it tighter have a fair bit of room behind the dump and fire wall. i ran my oil line from cause i already had a long braided line but yeh you can run it from the hole in the block next to the pasenger side engine mount from memmory it is 1/8 bspt or 3/8 cant quite remember... you can get steam pipe from local steel supliers my dump pipe cost $30...

I have seen some on ebay lately. new units that look like a factory syle lowmount, i think for around $450.

They're the MTQ lowmount units. It was only 6-12 months ago they were selling for $700-800!

hey guys sorry to hi-jack but has anyone got any custom made manifold pics? i really like the custom look and am a 3rd year boilermaker and wouldnt mind a challenge :lol:

yea i saw that the other day, very nice, am curious to see how he went with the distortion, as each exhaust port has its own flange an i know how bad stainless distorts with heat, could cut a 1 piece flange anyways, and how thick the stainless is as i have heard that thinwall stainless will crack with the heat

It looks like the manifold is mild steel, and the wastegate and dump is stainless.

If i was going to build my own manifold, i'd get a set of extractors and cut off the flange as a starting point. Extractor flanges are usually webbed.
