Fitted my second set of rubber (35/11.5/15 Pedes) to the patrol recently for a day trip.
Being a lazy fat bstrd, i have another trip in a few weeks and couldnt be bothered changing back to daily rubber for the interim.
I've run the pedes at 30psi but have noticed some scalloping on the centre lugs within around 500k's.....
I should say, the pedes are normally fitted to my other truck that weighs about a ton less than the patrol. Ive run them on this at 30psi forever and never noticed this scalloping of the centre lugs before.
So am i running them too high? or too low?
or is it just that the patrol at just over 3 tons is too fat for the tyres?
And is it illegal to drive with ear plugs? What?

Is the 4psi rule applicable to cross-plys?
I've got JT2s on a (heavy) 60 series cruiser and run 40psi on-road. As B.D.R said, quite unstable at speed with less pressure. They're rated for 45psi cold @ 1285kg (odd mix of units) and would assume the ET2s to be similar. If so, higher pressures are still well within spec.

x2. I run ET2's daily, and run 35-40PSI. I hate the feel of lower pressures on road.B.D.R wrote:I run 36x15 pedes, on 36psi.
Daily driven, haven't noticed any ware yet, i tried lower pressures but the tyres are to squrmy.
