as it suggest im chasing info on the 2, if anyone has some first hand accounts on the 2 tyres feel free to post up. looking in particular for wear rate and wet road handling
Cheers guys
btw prices for the 2 are as follows
KL71's $280each
Bighorns $240each
size is 31x10.5x15
From what i have found on here the KL71's have better road manners yet wear quicker, yet bighorns are cheaper, great off road and wear a bit better
anyway, post away guys
edit: They will be going on a TJ, with about 70:30 road:offroad, with offroad consisting of varying terrain of sand rock and clay like mud

KL71 - directional.. but you knew that from reading the tyre topics on them.
kl71's
any day of the week..
x2-directional
more wear but so much better offroad
dont quote me but my mates patrol run them as daily's and got 50-60 odd thousand off em..pretty go for a muddie..
have you searched different tire shops, mates just bought 33's(305/70/16) and paid $285 a tire..
also kl71's are a lesser known tire,as in everyone runs bighorns where kl71's arent as common..
cheers..smiley..

TUFF MUD 4X4 CLUB!! RIDIN IT DIRTY
iv got a set of 305/70/16 bighorns on my 100 series, i do most of my work on road, they are great on road, nice and quiet, and grip well, in wet and dry conditions.
in the mud they work very well, and clear out good.
as for wear i cant really comment, iv done 10,000 on them and they still look new.
( i swapped from cooper s/t`s to the big horns, they are by far a better tyre)
