diff center swap

Post by rammer60 »

ok so ive just finished reading the bible re interchanging front and rear diff centers. so for them to be interchangeable, does that mean the front tail shaft spins the opposite direction to the rear? just tryin to picture how u can pull the rear out n just stick it in the front?

Centres in a 60 are interchangable front to rear. The transfer case decides which way things spin. You will also fit 40 and 75 centres, the only differences being pinion size difference and flange differences.
