Was that the silver Triton? What happened? Noticed 1 U-bolt plate looked bent while following you (passenger side). I got a few small dings on the 250 point checkpoint but the LJ's gotten to the point that you don't really notice a few more.

Well done to all that came out last night.By far one of the biggest turnouts for a long time.Probably the only bad thing to come out of the run is that only 34 signed on yet 44 were counted (next time we will monitor it a bit better)so next time if you didn't, please sign on and buy some raffle tickets it's not much to ask.The run went very smoothly and most made it through till the end.It was really good to see everyone having a good time and we appreciate the positive comments both on the night and on this forum. Unfortunately i didn't get to see much of the run as i was running C.P-5 but it was great to see so many people try the checkpoint and we had a great time watching. Once the scores are worked out we will post up the winners. As far as the next run, we will be talking about it at the next GENERAL MEETING HELD THIS WEDNESDAY AT THE HOT ROD CLUB BIRCHELL ST LOGAN VILLAGE AT 8:00PM.All visitors are welcomeWe would love to see many new faces to the club and if you would like to be involved in the club and help in putting on the night runs, please come along.

Again thankyou to everyone who participated and especially to Phill and Steve for putting on the run.

If you would like any info on joining The Logan Districts 4wd Club please feel free to P.M. me or just rock up to a meeting. they are always held on the second wednesday of the month

Matt and Don were in the drowned GU. I wish I was there to witness it, next time for sure.

They broke a spark plug but got it going. Did a rock climb then broke an auto hub. After that the GU just stopped. It was because of the drowning but he doesn't know if it is electical or more series yet.

One thing is for sure, Matt will be turning up on Monday looking for more overtime. If someone has a picture please email it to shop@suspensionstuff.com.au so we can put it up on the wall in the shop.

Shane

Nothing will stop crazy man from getting to the winch challenge. I asked if he had any regrets about drowning the GU. His answer is, "Hell No".

I just hope he fits a snorkle next time

That'll be fun trying to work the placings out, due to the big turnout a lot of us didn't have maps and all our answers are on other peoples sheets, we only had C.P. scores on ours, the rest was on Wes's. Only there for fun anyhow and had plenty of that!

We had a ball, I think I got 2nd fastest on the timmed stage around the paddock, we came out of the pine forrest a little worse for ware- a nice 3" cut in the sidewall of a swamper, and a blown front oil seal. We just had to make a few more stops on the way home to keep topping up the oil. But got home with no dramas :D

I didn't bother with the speed stage, didn't think the stopwatch would read high enough (or the official would have gone to sleep) for a 540cc car. Fun on the other stages though.
