I can only fit the 3.5" cooler under the bonnet - not enough height for the larger 4.5" models :(
Has anyone fitted the smaller one? My car pulls 450-500 cfm max with around 250-300cfm normally under boost (2500RPM @ 10PSI, 4.1L 4 stroke, 2 valve, 80% intake efficiency).
I think their claim of 700cfm may be overstated.
Iam not worried about flow loss, just insufficient exposeure to the core to cool the air.
The front cooler is more than big enough I think,
Comments?
Thanx
Paul

I haven't used the small cooler but you will notice it must be stood on its end (like in the photo) to purge all the air out of the coolant.
I have this problem with their largest cooler and I'll be welding a bung on the top of the water intake so I can purge the air out of it.
Even if they overstated the flow by 30% you would be over 500cfm, 538cfm to be exact.
Their service is great and with the Aussie dollar where it is they are also great value.
Don't forget to order everything you need in one hit as US postal rates are very high.

I have found I can get the centre - center 4.5" to fit - but I don't think the air woudl flow evenly across the core looking at the design.
I see what you mean about purging - that could be fun.

Re: Has anyone fitted one of the small Frozeboost intercoole
Your intercooler only sees NA engine air consumption. In your case maybe 240 cfm at 4000rpm.me3@neuralfibre.com wrote: Has anyone fitted the smaller one? My car pulls 450-500 cfm max with around 250-300cfm normally under boost (2500RPM @ 10PSI, 4.1L 4 stroke, 2 valve, 80% intake efficiency).
Higher pressure and density than a non turbo engine, but volume flow rates are still the same.
