Navrun 14/15th Nov, 2009... Wombat SF, Vic.

Post by NavRun »

Aussie Disposals Wombat State Forest Navrun 14/15th Nov.: The last event for 2009.... There are only 7 spots left now. Based in the Wombat State Forest. This area adjoins the Lederderg State Park. About an hour to base camp from the CBD.

This particular Navrun will have a twist. We will be doing something that never has been done in a Navrun before.... to find out., you must enter!

Aussie Disposals will also be doing dinner for us, all included in your entry fee. They will also be doing other special prizes, etc during the course of the weekend.

Again, the terrain will be easy to medium... but the navigation remains challenging.........

Hats of to you Rudi - great event..... I'll even wear the circle work (cracked me up really ... and gave me ideas  )
as for the speeding pings :bad-words: need to set my speed alert lower but hey the landy rolls easier as its 1/2 the weight of all those trolls and cruzers....

We'll be back next year though - as for the evening music - GLAD I missed it and headed home for a comfy night.
Figure there needs to be a few more 'Western Burbs' events like this - makes a change that I dont need to travel far.

Well done to all the other teams - and cheers to Aussie D's for doing it again.

Well done Rudes!!! Top stuff..
We had a good time. I'll be honest, i was a bit sceptical of the Data loggers before the event but now i'm a fan.
Ours did prove to work agaionst us with false speed readins but that's what we get for not mounting it with good view of the sky.
Didn't really see anyone else out on the tracks during the days but those we did we courteous.
Was a good group of folks, hope to see alot of the ewbies back again.
Thanks all...

Dan
