RUST BULLET - Rustproofing product

Post by AnthonypBrown »

Need to do DIY rust proof on my 80 series cruiser undercarrage and saw advert in 4x4 Action mag for "Rust Bullet" product. Apparently you can buy a tin for spray on for about $80-$90.
Has anyone used this product?
Is it as good as it says??

Can't say I've used that one but seen the ads too. I recently used some POR15 rust inhibitor/convertor and was very impressed with it and it's reusable in that you can reuse dirty fluid althoguh I assume this would be the case with most similar based fluids.

What size is the tin for that money.

Fester2au, where did you get the POR15 from? I've been reading about it a bit on ih8mud and they all seem to rate it fairly well over in the US. Wondering where you can get it from in AU.
