My 2 door Rangie :-(

Post by geothro »

Hi all, I just wanted to thank everyone for helping me over the last 8 off odd years with my rangie like, Trav, Simo, PHilP and Grimace.

Due to various reasons and a change in direction I have decided to sell it.. Simo reckons its the best 2 door he's ever seen!

Anyway, maybe someone out there on Outers would liek to own it. It can be found at
http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll ... :MESELX:IT

Thanks again everyone.

Kind regards

Geothro

Me too, I remember looking at buying my first Rangie in the exact same colour and in great nick, didn't buy it because it didn't have power steering (was a 73 model with the light in the CDL switch).

I was kicking myself later on, especially the POS rust bucket that I eneded up buying :bad-words: :bad-words: :bad-words: You live and learn.

If I owned that, I too would be very sorry to let it go.

Still well done on putting it together in the first place and no doubt you'll make a buyer very happy!

FARK ME MATT !!!!!

You're selling it??? Where did that come from? And where was my phone call to let me down gently ..... I'll tell you where .. no-bloody-where.

No you just list in on eBay and I have to find out like this .... I'm shattered .. you biatch

Okay okay .. I'll calm down ... in, out, in, out, breathe Simo, breathe.

Matt .. mate .. how can you sell this gem of a car?? I mean .. it must be a hard thing to do and knowing you like I do all I can say is WOW. To say I'm shocked would be an understatement. Just becaue you can drive your Cobra around a race track faster than some dud(e) in a V8 Superute doesn't mean you have to go all serious on us now.

Anyway, back to reality .... Good luck with the sale mate, I can see it's already reached (and exceeded?) reserve. The winning bidder needs to know he's getting, in my humble opinion, the best 2 Door Range Rover in Australia.

Fark I might have a chat with Trace .. I reckon this would make a mean pizza delivery car :D

Simo, you of all people can't give me any lip..... It may never have seen a dirt road but at least I have driven it... Unlike a certain Rotary Race Car I believe you "once" had before departing it way before its time!!

The reality is with a job change maybe around the corner, my time a precious commodity and the vehicle now being so specific in nature I just can't have "another" car in storage. I currently have 6 vehicles I'm responsible to be registered! Its Rediculous....

Both my street and track cobras are also for sale. Major changes are a happening!

WIll keep in touch!

Well you're wrong there Mattstar ..... Regardless of my disappointing RX4 race car venture, I can still give you lip .... I just need to make sure I don't hit any of the glass walls around here :D

Mate I understand your plight completely ... being that I've had to give up stuff that I didn't want to many times .. in fact I'm still doing that with the businesses and all the bloody money I'm losing. I sure as hell don't want to give that up.

But back on topic. Tracy canned me purchasing the beastie from you so as much as I would seriously love to own what is arguably the best 2 door Rangie in the country, I'm out as a buyer. She didn;t even like theidea of it being a pizza delivery car .. 'cos you know .. we have lots of very very steep and loose driveways around the Sunshine Coast :D

So, good luck with the sale mate ... ebay is an interesting method of selling. You need to be careful and sort out the spankers from the real bidders as the last thing you want is for it to sell to someone that doesn't go through with the sale .. always looks bad if you have to relist it as many people think there is something wrong with the car. I recently sold my HDT Calais Director through eBay and aside from 1 phone call, the buyer disappeared .. he never came through at all .. farking time wasting crunt :bad-words: . So be vigilant. If they are really serious you want a deposit immediately and they should really inspect it or have it inspected before the sale finishes .. not after.

Catch up soon.

Funny you should mention that Simo... I have sent through an email to the bid holder to ensure they have the money to buy the car now that it has passed the reserve. I can't afford a wanker. Still not had a )*(&^cken response yet. I better not get frigged around as I got to sell it. I have some serious bills to pay...

I think a few from Outers are watching so fingers crossed it all happens....

I have cancelled/blocked 2 bidders because of there inability to respond or confirm they are able to pay for their bid... I even got an email from some bloke asking me whether I'd sell the cars head rests separately! What the!!!!!

Man, I'm over it! Its got to go but what does it take!
