Torsen bar ?

Post by Colin »

Hello.

I'm not to clued up on torsen bar suspension. Mine is wound up full at one side and wound down full at the other, does that seem wright
to you guys. Alough my Sportrak sits level. when I got the vehicle it was lying down a bit at one side so I wound until it was level.
I sort of was thinking they should have been evenly set. Maybe I have a fault and need them set ??

G'day Colin,

Might pay to readjust your TORSION bars to be even and see how it sits....
ie.. wind the to the sae spot and then wind them back 1/2 way....even number of turns for each side.

IF your Truck sits unevenly  , it may pay to purchase a new set of Torsion bars.....one of them may be broken.
Buy an aftermarket set from a reputable 4wd store :? (not sure what stores you have in Northern Ireland.)

IF it sits evenly.......hopefully your suspension will work more effectively......and end of story :D

That snorkley thingy is just that :!: A snorkel.......so it can breathe underwater
It has been custom made from steel tube. I've seen pics of other Feroza's with snorkels. Check out Andy's website....and go to the Doug's Link....look at the Worldwide pics he has posted....I think one of them is running a slightly modified Nissan GQ Patrol Snorkel. (easier and cheaper ?? than manufacturing a custom one)
