'91/'92 Mitsubishi Pajero (2.5L diesel, shortbox) owners??

Post by zabber »

Hey, does anyone on here own a '91 or '92 Pajero 2.5L diesel (shortbox)?

If so, how do you like it? Pros? Cons?

Just thought Id ask on here cuz I can't seem to find any reviews, recall info., etc. about them online but you can import them here and they seem like fun vehicles...

Thnx!!

Oh yeah,

If you've lifted yours, and put on bigger tires, how did it hand that? Can the 2.5L push bigger tires or does it have a tough time? Was it relatively easy to lift or is it tough with the IFS?

Thnx again!!

Have i 91 NH 2.5 TD. LWB. But this info should be relevant, 50mm body blocks made 33x12.5x15 muddies fit, power drop not that bad... As for suspension I just fixed up the rear leafs and wound up the front to suit. Price of a full lift kit to much for my budget and the wound up front has F ALL drop now due to the bump stops ( that i cut down anyway) Engine wise just keep timing belts up to it clean the injectors and reco the turbo if needed. Hope that helps anything else just ask.........
