yeah i have a safari kit and am very happy with it, plenty of punch and has 10 pound at 1800 rpm with a 3 inch dump.
Got a mate with a dts on a 79 n his boosts way later like 2500rpm later seems strange but that's what he said, he only has a 2.5 dump and 3 inch back but i don't reckon the 3inch dump would make up that much difference.

mate i got a DTS turbo on my 1hz. In a 75 though, (cant see it making any difference). All straight forward. I'm running 13 pound through my stocko head. Mind you my head has only 165 000, and 100 000 of them is with the turbo. Im Very happy with mine, boost great. I have no dramas with lag either. very responsive!
