suspension question for 60

Post by Mudsierra »

Hi all

I'm asking on behalf of a mate who just got himself a 60 cruiser.

He want to do it up into a good touring 4by, so he can go on trip up to cape york and the like etc etc

he had OME in his old 60 and he liked it but he's looking for something better or try something else.

He has been looking at getting 2 inch spring lift and got quote for ironman. However at one of the shop he went to told him that ironman is same as standard spring??

Is this true or not??

What other kit would you go for? how are they?

cheers

Not too sure about Ironman, but I have owned and fitted several with EFS and it has worked well.

dont buy the no name garbage on ebay you will be disappointed.

Most springs now are standard 2" lift as far as im led to believe.

Iron man and OME provide a solid 2" lift, yes but dont flex really well so it would be perfect for a tourer that does mild offroad work
Get out there!!

if he liked the OME, what does he want to improve about it?

To clear up a bit of confusion...

my mate wants to do travels up to cape york and that kind of travel all over the place.

Would ironman be okay for this sort of travel or not?
