Were are they normaly wire to, can the average DIYer do it. or is it best left to a auto electrician.(Turbo Diesel 80 Series Cruiser)

Pretty sure the 80 series diesels ( like mine ) have a sender on the fuel pump in the fancy models. Mine being the DX pov pack model doesn't have the sender in the fuel pump.

Be an expensive option to change the fuel pump to get a rev counter. Check out tiny tach in the states. They can make a transducer to suit the fuel line and is all digital.

Chears dabulg, found out that they can either come off injecters or alternator. But they mostly off the alternator, easy enough but still a job for the auto electricion. Thanx Any Way.
