Which brand would you reccommend? Superior engineering to suit 2" body lift or low range offroad ?

Considered making your own? They are pretty easy to make.

make sure you complete the steps in order Mcwilly - that will help you make a better decision.

1. design suspension
2. setup springs and shackles (assuming leaf sprung)
3. measure max stuff and droop (determines required length of shock)
4. find appropriate shock for required length and valving
5. find/build shock hoop to hold shock

Do not buy the shock hoop first.

hey man i can make them for you... i even have the steel at work to do it :D And greg is right you need to measure the crap out of your sus before going and fitting bigger hoops. You would only need bigger hoops if your buying a stacks longer shock... and since your running standard front springs you possibly not in need for longer shocks...

Brace them dont let anyone weld them straight to the chassis!!!!!
You know how hard it is to convince the rta that even though your vehicle has a hole where the chassis number use to be and youve changed the motor, colour of vehicle etc etc its NOT stolen
Did I mention to plate the chassis first?

Yea pics would be great.

With the sky ones do they still work if the diffs moved forward an inch?

I think the sky ones come with large plates to weld to chassis as part of the hoops? Why's plating affect the chassis number?

If you weld over the chassis number it makes the things a bit complicated come rego/inspection time ;)

First thing is to decide what suspension you are going to run. Then measure the crap out of everything and work out what size shock you need, and then work out what shock you are going to run. Then worry about shock hoop size and design. Buying your shocks and hoops before you acutally work out what you need is not going to get you a good outcome. If you want a hand measuing up stuff let me know, i can probably help you out.

Yes you have to be careful where they are placed to avoid the chassis number on the drivers side.
