Aqualu Aluminum RHD Dimension Help!

Post by Big-D »

We are looking for anyone who can help us confirm the dimensions for a RHD cowl for the Land Cruiser FJ40 series. We have had many requests for a RHD system and we are ready to put them into production, as we have a few orders pending. We want to confirm that the fuel filler is on the right hand side and the dimensions on the image attached are correct. If anyone has any information to contribute, we would greatly appreciate it.

Thanks,
Aqualu

I can check it tonight for you.

Can you confirm that you want distance to centre ? If so it will be pretty hard to get an accurate measuremnet with steering column and Master Cylinder fitted. Would be easier to get you an OD measuremnet to the edge or one of the mounting holes.

Thank you!
Yes. It would be best to get the distance to center, but I understand if you are only able to get the outside dimensions.

Also please let me know what year your cowl is.

Thanks again for all your help we really appreciate it,

Fuel filler is on the RHS, our driver's side. Love that 4 door body for the 45 series chassis.

Hey Guys - Any luck with the measurements? :?:

We have wanted to get our products over to Australia for quite some time now, hopefully with the addition of this new RHD aluminum cowl we can make this happen. We have recently been exploring the possibilities of filling a container. We would accept pre-sale orders and once we had enough to fill a container we would ship it over. When we are ready to start this process and begin accepting orders, we will post more information online (forums) as well as our web site www.aqualu.com

At this time, shipping for a complete Land Cruiser Tub & Cowl is approx. $1150 USD + customs clearance/ VAT's for ocean export to Melbourne.

We thank you all for your comments and continued support and look forward to getting this RHD cowl over to Australia soon.
