GQ LWB FRONT LOWER ARM BUSHES. BUGGERED.

Post by BLUE MQ »

Just found out that my front lower arm bushes are buggered, what are the best bushes to replace them with? Do I need to put any certain type of bushes in it or just standard ones? Has 2"lift springs and 30mm coil spacers all round.

What you're reffering to are radius arm bushes. Speak to Shane at Suspension Stuff ("Suspension Stuff" his username on here).

Whats the current suspension setup on the car?

Thanks I wasn't sure what they were called. My GQ is currently running with 2" lift springs and 30mm coil spacers all round, not planning to go any higher. Running 33" cooper mud's.

So you have roughly 3 inches of lift, which is borderline for needing castor correction of some sort.

Jump on the blower tomorrow and give Shane a call to go through your options. The cheapest options i see are to replace them (all four) with either stock Nissan rubber ones, or slotted units from Shane.
