I picked one up on ebay for $900, but probably $1200 - $1500 is realistic.

I've seen the engine on ebay from $800 to 2500, The ones over $2000 do not seem to sell though.
Anything is possible, it just comes down to time and money.

PM TNA. A bloke he knows in Moe had a 4.5 complete for around $1000. Pretty sure he's still got it.

He fitted a LS2 and all the gear to his GU so no longer required the tb4.5. Good nik, high 200k's/low 300k's i think from memory.

i sold my old tb45 block with no accessories with about 160 thou for $500!
was in good nick and had just had the timing case fixed!

there not worth a pinch of salt..
