putting gear stick into 4wd/4wd-low (91 vit SWB)

Post by shane1992 »

Hey guys.

Just a few questions when putting my 91 vit swb in to 4wd/4wd-low should you have your car in park, neutral or in gear?

Cause just recently, last month or so, ive been finding it hard to get it into 4wd-low like the gear stick vibrates at times very hard and it scares you sometimes hahaha, also when I finally manage to get it into 4wd-low I struggle to get it out with out it vibrating ??? :|

Im not sure wether im not pushing the stick in the right direstions, seeing as since i brought my car the gear nob pattern thing on top has been all squashed and un readable....

Any help would be highly appreciated..

from 2wd -4h you can be moving slowly to shift inbetween them...

to put in 4L you need to completely stop and also to go from 4L back to 4h or 2wd completely stop... hope that helps
