Just after ur opinon on should i cut the gaurds or body lift to clear 31" on a 96 coilywith a 2" lift

let your budget decide =)

body lift is bolt in - guard chopping is forever.

body lift and 2" lift youll need to look at brake lines, fuel filler etc, but thats it.

guard chop means a re-spray and body work (welding etc) and its permanent.

then theres the legal avenue... lol

I'm not all that fused about looks and the likes and as for the law iv never had any prob's around hear with moding cars as long as I lay off the loud pedal lol and iv got every thing I need to do both so won't cost any thing

i got 31 with guard chop and 30mm lift and its so stable to drive
1990 lwb vit
4 in lift
winch,lockers,gears, 31's

if itwas an old zook you got cheap I would chop it but a 96 coily nup body lift it
current truck, 105 series GXL diesel 6" springs & twin pro lockers
sierra LWB spoa one wide track diffs twin locked

Is it really neccessary to b/l or chop a coily to fit 31"s
Cant you just do a susp lift and bash hell out of the inner gaurds till they fit.
