LOGAN DISTRICTS 4WD CLUB-ANNUAL NOVEMBER EXTREME NIGHT RUN

Post by [gubeaut] »

What - it is a mapped night run
When -November 21st Meet 6.00pm -Leave 7.00pm
Where- to be announced, though it will be south side of brisbane
Rated -EXTREME

Non club members are welcome, though we would like you to please buy some raffle tickets at the start to support the club remember only two runs as a visitor before you are required to join

All vehicles must have front and rear recovery points, and minimum of 1 Snatch Strap and 2 rated shackles all in good condition.

All vehicles must be able to self recover if required, although this is a club run event, it is not our responsibility to provide recovery, it is recommended to all people attending that they assess all sections prior to attempting them. We however will not leave any one stranded in the middle of the bush and do whatever we can to get everyone out.

As is a condition with all night runs these are a drug and alcohol free events. This apply's for drivers as well as passengers. No exceptions will be made and anyone caught in breach of this will be asked to leave.

if anyone needs to know any more information please reply to this thread or PM me and i will get in contact with you.

Do you mean the hard options were heaps easier than the extreme run then? Ie if you can drive all the options could you do the extreme one?

Like gubeat said, "Oct was rated medium with HARD options.

November is rated Extreme, so it would be expected it would
include EXTREME options.

I would think the options would be more challenging, but as I didn't see any
of the October run I could be wrong

cheers

Mate the run itself you will get through if you did the check points of the oct run(no guaranties though) but the checkpoints themselves will definately be extreme. As always if it gets too hard you don't have to continue and there will always be someone who can tell or show you the best way to get out

Yea that's him, called it "a night with absolute wankers" on 4wd action, and went on about destroying the environment, blah blah blah, then he edited it all out.

dont any one opt out of the run because it is too hard we are hopefully going out to steart mapping this weekend with a similar format in mind to last month where as standard cars may be able to do enough of the run to have some fun and watch the extreme guys, but as for the checkpoints they will definately be extreme and you wont do them in a standard car unless it belongs to your mother inlaw.

##########please bear in mind that if you are in astandard car and you dont want it scratched and r travelling to slow for the people behind you GET OUT OF THE WAY not like the winger from last time who thought he had the right to hold everybody else up and then complain because somebody got sick of being stuck behind him and overtook. This run will not suit impolite selfish slow people.##############

the only other complaints we got after that night were people complaining about you complaining, funny that!!, if any body has constructive criticism we are only too happy to take it on board, please speak up. The fact that the logan club are the only ones who put on regular runs open to everybody maybe you should consider this when complaining about driving around in your corolla because no one wants to put on runs anymore due to one loser who wants to ruin a good thing just because he can and only thinks about himself instead of the good for everyone.

Stevo our club runs a trip every month as well as a social event every month and all can attend member or not. If i was the only person who was pissed off by the carry on that night how come a member of the Logan District 4wd Club attended our last monthly meeting as they had had enough of the carry on with some people in your club...Not good advertising for your club mate... Anyway you are quite welcom to attend one of our club runs with out becoming a member but anyone who show blatent disrespect will be asked to leave...

PM me if you want any details...all our trips are rated up to medium with some hard options so that no matter what you drive you will still be able to make it.

Cheers

We do run some dirt road trips but we dont do tea and biscuits, you are welcome to come along if you bring your own tea and biscuits otherwise you could join us for a beer...

If you are feeling up to it maybe you could join us for a harder run but we wont push you into it if its not your style... ;)
