has anyone found an upgrade to a 4y alternator?
how hard is it to switch to an internal regulator?

just find a later model nippon denso that bolts on
any one who knows their wiring can modify the wiring to suit to internal reg

A toyota tarago 4YEC alternator is 70amp internal reg and will bolt straight up. About $250 new from Ashdown Ingram

i use a ford alt modified to 120 amp at a local auto elec they will get one done for you or cost me $250 installed drive in and out
