Pink Ribbon Breakfast Rally for 4wders

Post by MudRhino »

Team MudRhino (TMR) would like to invite you to attend the Pink Ribbon Breakfast Rally for 4wders on Saturday the 7th November 2009, in support of Pink Ribbon Day.

Pink Ribbon Day is an annual event held by The Cancer Council of Australia each October to increase people’s awareness about breast cancer and raise funds for research, education programs and support services.

The day’s events will begin at a central location within Melbourne, followed by a procession to the township of Toolangi for an open air BBQ breakfast (bacon, sausages, eggs, hash browns etc.). This will be followed by a scenic drive through the Toolangi State Forest with an 'eye spy' competition, and will finish back at the town centre.

For more information read the pdf flyer located at: http://www.mudrhino.com.au/PinkFlyer.pdf

Or visit the forum thread: http://forum.mudrhino.com.au/viewtopic.php?t=7340

All proceeds raised on the day will go directly to the Cancer Council of Australia, and there will be prizes donated by the events major sponsors including (but not limited to) OnTrack 4X4, Opposite Lock, the PC Repair Centre and Engel.

So come along, have some fun and help us raise some much needed funds for a good cause whilst helping portray to
the wider community that 4wders can make a positive contribution.

Indeed they are

So - anyone actually interested in coming?

Very friendly group running the event and last year everyone had a great time.

Big thanks to all the companies sponsoring the event, and providing their products as give aways on the day. At this stage I believe there are a total 8 major sponsors including (but not limited to) OnTrack4x4, Engel, Opposite Lock, The PC Repair Centre, ConstrucTech and more.

Would be nice to see some of the outers crew there.

They are our overall sponsors - some do special things for these functions that we run every so often, other just join up for the functions as they happen. Last year we had several other big names on board like pioneer etc.

For those who can not attend, but still wish to make a donation, please donate at the following address:

http://www.breastcancerfundraising.org. ... nID=309057#

This is a direct link to the Australian Cancer Council, so you can feel sure that whatever you donate will go directly to the right people ;)

Thank you to those people who have donated already - and remember, you don't have to donate big bucks - even a couple of dollars helps.
