97 tdi disco problem

i am wondering if you guys can help me .
i have a 97 tdi and under normal driving it is great but under full throttle it will studder and miss and has a lack of power .
any ideas guys.

fixed :D there was a tiny filter in the end of the lift pump that i cleaned out and it is running better than ever .

Rolly another reason why they do this(shudder lack of power) is when you change the fuel filter or run out of fuel the fill her up and restart the engine you need to unsrew the bleed screw on top of the filter housing and run the engine and wait until the air bubbles have stopped then tighten and your all set to go
