Hey just wondering if anyone has swapped to a lever style handbrake where the centre console is, i seen it in a hilux the other day and it actually worked well.
Now i wanna set that style up on mine i rekon it would be a worthwhile upgrade but not sure what parts were used to do it and i dont know the person that had that setup.
So has anyone done this whats involved is there a factory setup on another car that would work?
Or would a hydraulic style be better maybe any thoughts or ideas please?

i used a handbrake lever from a 1983 celica it was an colour match due to the era and i used its and pieces and a cable i had in the shed to make it work( dunno what it was out of)
i welded a solid mount into the floor with the 4 tapped holes required ,made out of 8mm steel works great and is lighter and easier to use than the umbrella style under the dash
