i have the 1995 v8i disco 3.9 5 speed manual
now she been getting noisy as over the time
now i have found a auto (ZF HP 22> from a 1995 modle is it a simple straigh bolt up pattern?? gear levers etc i know i would need to change center console

1995 land rover disco on 265 muddies
Depends if the ZF was originally behind a V8 or a Tdi.
They have different belhousing pattern and AFAIK different torque converter and flex plate. If it was V8 the bellhousing will have the same bolt pattern as your V8 and flex plate same bolt pattern as your crankshaft.
The bolt pattern of the LT230 did not change with different gearboxes/transmissions.
Best to get all shift linkages (incl t/case), kickdown cable, brackets, etc with the ZF if you can. You also need the spud shaft that goes between the ZF and LT230 - need later one with longer splines if the LT230 has the cross drilled input gear (recommended).
