So does your club promote drinking and driving  ???[/quote]

No we dont promote drinking and driving in any way shape or form.

We do allow a beer with lunch (totally legal) and several beers after the days run when we are camping the night. :D

Under no circumstances do we allow drinking while driving and all legal limits must be adhered to.

So, how do you police this if you have 40 people on a run?

The fact that the logan club are the only ones who put on regular runs open to everybody maybe you should consider this when complaining about driving around in your corolla because no one wants to put on runs anymore due to one loser who wants to ruin a good thing just because he can and only thinks about himself instead of the good for everyone.
i've stayed out of this on both forums i've seen threads relating to the Logan runs up until now (i even got to read the other threads before they were deleted). i was at the run Mr Mac complained about and was very disappointed to see people in their 4wds knocking over trees rather then using the existing track that was already there. so take this as as constructive criticism, you need to tell the knobheads who were doing it that they are the reason tracks are getting closed all over Australia
are they members of your club? i don't know, maybe they just came along for the night like i did (and yes i did buy raffle tickets off of you like you asked we do). but you guys were the ones holding the event, so you need to try and insure that it doesn't happen again.
can you tell me what steps as a club you have taken since that night to try and insure the same thing doesn't happen again?

Do you have any idears or suggestions of how to solve these problems?

As usual, it is the minority that ruin it for the majority... maybe the club needs to go back to closed night runs

LOOK. I don't care who you are but trying to stop the odd idiots from comming to runs is almost impossible and at no point have you MRMACGU or qld-bundy-drinker given any imput as to how you can stop it from happening. people get so confident behind the computer. We as a club are not abligated to tell you anything that goes on at a club meeting and if you would like to know please come to a meeting as we do welcome everyone. How about staying on the topic Instead of a getting on here and carrying on about this personal S!#$. The logan 4wd club puts these runs on and welcomes everyone to partake for 2 runs as a visitor before they are required to join and if this sort of crap continues we will have to look at closing them to members and invited guests. Please keep the personal crap to P.M's

Well said, so where abouts will it be? I would like to organise a tyre change. My tyres don't like doin more than 50km/h on bitumen.

We appreciate the work that the logan club puts into the night runs. We have organised and assisted with night runs in the past and will re-join the club after the trucks get rebuilt.

Any other clubs that do an "OPEN" night run should post it here as the logan club does before being criticle of their runs. They vollanteer their time for our enjoyment.

Deon I fully understand where you are coming from but please remember that in the PM i sent you weeks ago that I told you I raised my concerns to what was happening to an official to which i was told if you dont like it leave...so i did...so it has become obvious that your members and yourself dont really care about the enviroment or other peoples safety.

As far as starting S H I T.... I read this forum regularly but rarely comment but when i read yourself and other members slagging me for being responsible why shouldnt i comment...if you dont want comments keep your mouth shut....you started it off...

As far as posting runs on here i will if you want...i post them on several other forums but rarely here as you blokes are more into the hard core type stuff which we dont do as a club. This is why a few of us head out on other clubs runs like yours for a bit more of a challenge, but if you guys are interested in coming along on the occasional more sedate or camping trip let me know and i will be more than happy to post it for you.

I am sorry if i offended you or your club or any other forum users but what happened was wrong and for me not to make people aware of it would in my opinion be wrong. Everyone should have the right to use these tracks and having them closed because people keep trashing them is a BIG concern.

It is a shame that a run can be spoilt buy a few people in a group and we were enjoying ourselves up to that point and if i am welcome i would like to attend another one of your runs at some point in the future...although i am quite happy with the club i am in so the option of joining yours at this point would never happen...

I enjoy all things to do with 4wding including comps etc and i love to go along and take photos etc...but i am passionate about not destroying the places we use either...honestly i dont complain much and i wish i never did but i think now whether you agree or not that you can see my point...

I wont post on here again but i will continue to read it, and the topic can go back on track or your members can take it where they want from here.

Good luck with your night run and i hope to enjoy one with you in the future.

If you want any input on how to stop idiots PM me and i will give you some and remember i encourage what you are doing but not what some are doing .
Cheers

Always someone tell you how it should be could be or might be . I just thank the guys putting these runs on I DON'T THINK IT'S THEIR JOB to co pilot the IDIOT'S and make sure they do the right thing. Unfortunately idiot's come in all shapes and sizes and can blend in with normal people.
A big  to the Logan guys the best hardcore runs around . I come from far northside of bris to take part . I will be at the next run and joining as soon as I can get to the meeting (damn working for a living) I think you deserve all the support you can get.[/b]

ATM, still to be confirmed.

Further details should be known after mapping etc being done this weekend.

Available helper numbers will determine start point and route.

PM me if anyone wants to offer assistance on the night.

cheers

the run will either be almost in the same spot as last time or another place within a couple of suburbs depending on number of checkpoint operators willing to help out. sorry to drag out where starting point will be but it is due to trying to cater for all types of vehicles ie spectators so am waiting as long as i can to get no.s of helpers before ( i have to say hard to extreme run only must have two lockers and a winch to start ) but a decision will be made by monday and starting ppoint posted, thankyou for your patience.

as a club we hold no responsibility for the security of toe rigs and trailers but there will be others doing the same. There were no issues last time with the cars that were left behind.

the run will be at ormeau entering off vennor drive ( water tower ) there is parking for tow rigs in off the road. Just head in along the dirt track untill u find us (not very far there is an open area for tow rigs where we will be starting from. 6.30pm for a 7.00 start. ********************************************************************************************************************************THE RUN IS RATED HARD TO EXTREME****************** **** sorry there is no provision for spectator vehicles on this run. self recovery will be a requirement as the club and its helpers will not be responsible for revovering vehicles if u do not have a winch organise to travel with another vehicle. (minimum requirements is vehicle with one locker and winch or two vehicles travelling together one vehicle of which must be locked)

No "on road" sections and the end is only a main track away!
