G'Day,
I reckon this has probably been bought up before but does anyone know if speed werx tube benders are the same as pro tools ones from the states?

No they're not, Speed werx are australian designed and built.


Also speed werx use die's for metric pipe sizes which are commonly available in australia and american pipe benders are for imperial size pipes, which are not that common at your local steel supplier

you can buy all sizes in speedwerx metric and pipe.

but your money is better spent in the us on a jd or pro tools.
There are about 10 solid reasons why I sold my speedwerx, and bought a jd2 model 3. It cost me over $1200 and I didn't even blink.

Now that I have used the jd heaps - I am so glad that speedwerx is a distant memory

What Bru said. Although I have the model 4 JD2 bender with hydro which allows the bender to be moved anywhere in the shed. (doesn't need to be anchored to the floor)
