Does anyone know what the difference is between EFI fuel hose and 'LPG' hose?
I'm talking about the soft hose that carries LPG vapour after the reducer, not the braided HD stuff carrying from the tank. At that point the gas is only about 20psi.
Wondering if LPG would for some reason eat away at good EFI hose....
I just want to change the path which my hose setup to the injectors run, but don't want to pay for someone to mess it up. I would/will use LPG hose but have no idea where to get it, or whether they'd sell it to the public...

Re: LPG hose
no idea on the specifics, but LPG does eat lots of different rubbers, so i would hazard a guess that it is different.-Nemesis- wrote:Does anyone know what the difference is between EFI fuel hose and 'LPG' hose?

most gas places will sell it to you, it's the running of the high pressure lines that's the major certifiable bit (and the hardware for that stuff is hard to get sometimes). i've had no issues buying vapor hose/converter rebuild kits etc over the counter.
Spit my last breath
All of the vapour lines i've seen have had a braided external sheath, and stainless wire reinforcement (so it doesn't kink). The older ones ive seen had high-tensile wire reinforcing.
Any gas fitter/supplier should sell it to you. I got my stuff from one of the local LPG fitters and also the mobile gas tank tester as he also does fitting.
