Tacho only works when fan blower is on ???? Sierra with G13B

Hi All,

I've just finished my G13B conversion and have a problem with my Tacho.

It only works when the heater fan is turned on ???

I've picked up the signal from the engine bay. It is definitley connected to the correct wire, just don't understand why it only works when the blower fan is turned on.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Maybe the ground runs through the heater?
Suzukis are negatively switched remember...
