1HDT Replacement Advise, Please

Post by bigbrowndog »

My brother rang earlier tonight to say his 1HDT has no compression after loosing the coolant from a heater hose. He is in Tennant Creek and will need a new motor. Can anyone advise the best place to pick up a new or rebuilt long motor. Seem to think someone here mentioned a while back that some Toyota dealers were selling them new at a comparable price to a rebuild. Can anyone advise please. Thanks.
