1HZ Diesel Fuel Pump Leak from Fuel Adjust Screw

Post by Landcruiser Tom »

Hi All,

Finally put a turbo on my 1HZ 80 series and have turned the fuel adjust screw in for more fuel.

I now have a fuel leak from this adjusting screw.

Is there a gasket or O ring that has been damaged? If so, is it easily replaced, or is it within the top cover?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Tom.

Possibly sorted.

I bit the bullet and pulled the fuel adjust screw out. There is an O ring on the screw shaft.

Looks like I'll have to ring around on Monday morning to try and find a new one.

Cheers,

Tom.
