bead lock bolts?

Bought a set of bead locked rims and have spent the last couple weekends cleaning them up and am about to put them all back together.

My question is can I use stainless steel button head bolts in them with Nylocs or do I have to use the Hi Tensile bolts that they came with?

Just not sure about stainless and HiTensile rating and thought I'd better ask before committing the dollars.

stainless is much weaker than hitensile. if they came with hitensile, i'd use them.

stainless has a tendency to bind up. ht is the way.

Plated HT's are available in 8.8.

Button heads are not a structural head as such, more decorative or for confined space. Hex bolts if you have the room or socket heads but more $.

As are plated unbrakos.

I've run mine with the bolts reversed too - nuts on the outside- makes the tensioning process easier, but bolt length is critical.
