A\C systems are very robust. Only constant driving over harsh corrogations would cause damage. Most system damage is caused by poor maintainance or lack of use. Blocked or poor airflow through condensors are the main reason for compressor and hose failure (excess head presure). I fix A\C systems on heavy earthmoving gear and these shake and viabrate a whole lot more than any 4x4.
the condenser has a hole in it ... and theres 3 different condensors for patrols apparently ... different ones for utes and wagons ...
blah blah ... anyhow .. mine happens to have one for a wagon and its the expensive one of the 3
