Did the mod for the bypass on the height control and ran with it up for a few weeks. Think Ive stuffed the bags by doing this. As im about to fit +50mm springs and new torsions I was thinking about removing the bags because they are a) old and now knackered and b) seem to be a bit of a weak link anyway. The plan was to then blank off the lines, leaving the height contrtol to work just on the front end.. Does anyone know what i'll need to do (i,.e get standard coil mount tops (c/e bump stops) and or what thread the blank caps might be...?
Cheers
Mark

NH Electric/hydraulic height control removal

Yea the tops are different on where the spring mounts go. it'd be easiest to keep the height control purely as a locator for the coil spring but blank off the lines so they don't work. Follow them to the pump and you should be able to put a balnk in where the oil lines are at the moment.

Yeah your right....lasted 3 weeks of semi full time and then just basically just wouldnt hold pressure. Might not be the bags, but dispite trying to pump up, nothing happens apart from normal slow flashing for anout twice as long as it used to take to pump up, then a much faster flashing (which I guess is a fault indication)....and I can see one of the bag seats (drivers side) looks a bit 'creased' now....
Check the tech bible - there is a post about topping up your oil in the system - might be your problem.
