Upgrade knuckle studs

Post by 308LUX »

In the process of upgrading my knuckle studs on my 85 hilux ...

Changing the studs from 12mm to 14mm and need to know where to find the studs ... tried repco and couldnt help ... the studs are a 12mm course thread going into the housing and a 12mm fine holding the steering arm on top... so after the same in 14mm or even a 14mm fine both ends will do ohh and high tensile grade 8 ... and 14mm tapered washers to suit

Why not just buy the stronger upgrade studs available from places like Locktup?
