dead dashlights

Post by jbates58 »

hi all

i have just pulled the entire dash outa my trol on monday arvo, and am putting it back in atm. now, i have a small prob. my instrument cluster backlights are not weorking. on either parkers, or lights. all the other lights (park brake, glow plugs airflow etc...) all work fine, and the lights in the ashtray and around the cig lighter work. also, the highbeam and indicator lights work respectivley. and all the globes are fine. now my meter is kinda rooted, but it also kinda works, and its not showing voltage (the screen is rooted and i need a new more expensive one. lol) so, now then, i have checked all fuses, none are blown. so where do those leads run? and is it easier for me to re-wire it form somewhere else? also, dose anybody know of any led inserts for them?

cheers

Have to watch out for dirty terminals on the fuses too. Rather annoying when obvious things like that slip out of your mind
