I see a lot of diff protectors round for rovers, and have been on a couple of trips where some silicon has been needed to get them home ok.
I've been meaning to get around to making one for the cruiser.
BUT - I don't see many round for cruisers. And I don't remember a cruiser cutting open a front diff when rock and crownwheel where combined (comps excepted)
Is there a reason the two would be different? Rovers softer or thinner? Or I've just been lucky?
Thanx
Paul

Re: Diff protectors - toyota vs Rover
The Hilux ones sold by Locktup will fit an 80 front diff I have just put one on mine. Not sure if its needed or not but imo for the small cost better safe than sorry.me3@neuralfibre.com wrote:I see a lot of diff protectors round for rovers, and have been on a couple of trips where some silicon has been needed to get them home ok.
