80 series spring perches

Post by Struth »

Are the 80 series front axle spring perches located directly over the centre of the axle or offset forward of the axle?

Thanks, how far forward would you say they are offset, it looks like the centre of the perch is aligned with the front of the axle housing?

I need to put them on my modified front end and the further forward they go the greater distance I can get between upper and lower perches by moving the upper purches forward and up on the chassis for maximum spring/shock height.

Don't want to go any more further forward than standard though, just looking for whatever gains I can sensibly get.

Cheers
