gq's engine temp sensor

Post by jbates58 »

hi all.

i am looking for the gq's engine temp sensor, so that i can install my new temp gauge off it, so that i dont have 2 cut the radiator hoses, and install an aftermarket kit.

i have probed both of the wires on all settings on my meter, and i get a decreasing value, from around 35ish, and down. on 1 of the wires, the other i dont get a reading.

cheers

On the thermostat housing m8. It's a very small unit with wires.

The one closest to the front of the thermostat housing is the Temperature Gauge Sender.
