I guess i must have been lucky for the last 5 years,
Factory Auto hubs on my Boosted TD42T Wagon, Difflocks, 36 ET2s loads of power, never had a auto hub fail.
But i always manually locked mine before driving offroad!

Yes it does depend a lot on the type of terrain you drive, i can gaurantee to smash a hub on a trip out if using factory gear, its not stupid driving its just a step up from from what most guys would do with their trucks.
We have have winch challenge guys come out with us who have never smashed hubs and by the end of the tracks they have broken their hub.
Their is a big difference from driving 4wd tracks to driving tracks that have never been driven before, this is were hubs like ours make the difference.
Real cv's and real hubs make driving a pleasure , and no grease on the hands

I have not broken a manuel hub, but have exploded a gu auto hub that was manually locked. It was a relatively easy track too.

does anyone know if the drive plates off of the mq front diff or the like will fit in replacement of the factory hubs eliminating the hub problem. i hnow you won't be able to unlock them but most new 4wd's don't have them d40 navara for example
