GQ leaf spring ute diff the same as coil spring patrol.

I looked at a leaf spring gq ute today and the diff's front and back did not look the same as my gq wagon. is that right?

I am looking to buy it and change it to coils all round.
May need to put a wagon diff in the front as well as stearing box, stearing arm and drag link.

This will be a comp car, with no rego.
If any one can tell me any other mod's that will be gr8.

Rear leaf diff is a H260 which is different to the coil sprung diff which is a H233.

The front diff however is a H233 which is the sam as the coil diff.

The leaf diff is obviously larger and stronger but it does have les diff clearance due to its larger size.

Also being a leaf sprung ute it will have a 4.3 diff ration already.

front and rear diffs are COMPLETLY Different! The only 1 thing that is the same is the short side axle and cv's are the same but centre's steering, width, everything else is different

It would be much easier to either cut a wagon down or buy a wagon rolling chassie and just use the ute motor, box, cab and tray.
