Nes Snatch strap.

Post by mercxr6T »

Hey everyone, Today I asked the missus to stop in at supercheap and pick me up one of there blue snatch straps. I read on here that they rated pretty high for a cheapo strap. But they had sold out of em so she got me a 11000kg snatch strap made by Maxi Trac. just wondering if anyone knows if they are any good so I can return it if there crap. Cheers.

maxi trac is a repco home brand, all their own 4wd gear from recovery to suspension is branded maxi trac now. I haven't heard bad reports from the gear and they are a warrented product from the largest parts retailer an wholesaler in this country ao I would be pretty confident that it will do the job.

Remember recovery gear need to be looked after and straps will break. When a strap breaks it is mostly due to the strap been worn or been miss used

Blue supercheap straps are awesome! Tow-2-Go.

Had my broken down Sierra towed for 4 hours on an 8000kg strap doubled over. I dont use the strap anymore because of this, but i compared the length with a new one and it hadn't stretched anymore that 1 or 2".

BUT what sucks is the fact they increased significantly in price after they got such a good report in 4WD action mag.
